PETER BEHRENS REENACTMENT
2018University project
A one week project held during the 3rd Semester as an introduction to the academic year and in conjunction with the centenary of Peter Beherens Bau, am iconic building designed by the same architect and designer.
The project consisted in reinterpreting an object, a product or a modern machinery, redesigning the aesthetic and formal characteristics as if it had been produced at the time of the German designer.
I experimented with a device for nuclear magnetic resonance, whose complex configuration offered ample space for different formal speculations.
In addition to the main body, the patient bed and some additional tools were also designed.
For the event i was also in charge to design the poster.
A consistent formal language has been maintained, giving the layout, the typographic aspect and the chromatic choice typical features and characteristics of the Jugendstil.
